Payment and Refund Policy
Last updated: 23 September 2026
Scope of the policy and the services it covers
This Payment and Refund Policy applies to all services provided by presstrixo through its website. The services include professional video operation, live signal management, content distribution, camera work, and the creation of reliable high-quality feeds for news programmes and television broadcasting. It covers bookings for live feeds, ongoing service subscriptions, one-off content distribution arrangements, and any related training or operational support offered as part of the core offering. The policy does not extend to third-party platforms or external providers that may be used in conjunction with our feeds.
Prices, currencies, taxes and additional charges
All prices are quoted in British pounds sterling. Where services are supplied to customers outside the United Kingdom, additional local taxes or import duties may apply and are the responsibility of the customer. Value added tax at the prevailing UK rate is included in displayed prices unless otherwise stated. Extra charges may arise for expedited delivery of physical materials, overtime technical support beyond agreed hours, or custom signal routing that requires additional equipment. Any such charges are confirmed in writing before they are incurred.
Accepted payment methods, authorisation and security
We accept payment by major credit and debit cards, bank transfer, and approved digital wallets. Payment is authorised at the time of booking or subscription activation. All card transactions are processed through secure payment gateways that comply with UK data protection standards. presstrixo does not store full card details. Customers receive an immediate acknowledgement of successful payment via email.
Order confirmation and when a contract is formed
A binding contract is formed once presstrixo sends written confirmation that the booking or subscription has been accepted. This confirmation follows receipt of payment or a valid purchase order. Until confirmation is issued, no contract exists and either party may withdraw without liability. The confirmation email sets out the service dates, scope, and any special conditions.
Cancellation rights and applicable periods
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, consumers in the United Kingdom have a 14-day cooling-off period from the date the contract is concluded. This right applies to most services but is lost once performance has begun with the consumer’s express consent. For live broadcast services scheduled within the cooling-off period, cancellation must be notified immediately. Business customers do not receive the statutory cooling-off right but may cancel under the specific terms of their agreement.
Refund eligibility, exclusions and non-refundable items
Refunds are available where cancellation occurs within the statutory cooling-off period or where the service cannot be provided due to reasons within presstrixo’s control. No refund is given for services already delivered, for custom live feeds that have commenced transmission, or for subscriptions where the customer has accessed the feed for more than the trial period. Promotional or discounted rates are non-refundable once used.
Step-by-step procedure to request a refund
To request a refund, the customer must email [email protected] with the order reference, date of booking, and a clear statement of the reason. Supporting evidence such as screenshots of service failure may be requested. Requests must be made within 30 days of the service date or within the cooling-off period, whichever is earlier. presstrixo acknowledges receipt within two working days.
Inspection, approval, rejection and notification of the refund decision
Each request is reviewed against the service logs and contract terms. A decision is provided in writing within ten working days. If approved, the customer is notified of the amount and expected processing time. If rejected, reasons are explained and any alternative remedies such as credit for future services are offered. Customers may appeal a decision once by supplying additional information.
Refund method, processing time and when funds reach the customer
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. Processing takes up to fourteen working days after approval. Bank transfers may take an additional three to five working days to appear in the customer’s account depending on the receiving bank. Digital wallet refunds are usually faster.
Special rules for digital content, subscriptions and promotional offers
Digital feed services are treated as digital content. Once the feed has been accessed or the live transmission has started, the right to cancel is lost. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least seven days before the renewal date. Promotional trial periods convert to paid subscriptions automatically unless cancelled before the trial ends. No partial refunds are given for unused portions of a subscription period.
Failed payments, duplicate charges, chargebacks and suspected fraud
If a payment fails, the booking is placed on hold and the customer is notified. Duplicate charges are investigated and refunded within five working days once verified. Chargebacks are treated as disputes and may result in suspension of service until resolved. Suspected fraudulent activity leads to immediate account review and may be reported to the relevant authorities while preserving evidence in line with UK data protection law.
Mandatory consumer rights that cannot be excluded
Nothing in this policy affects the customer’s statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, UK GDPR or the Data Protection Act 2018. These rights include the right to receive services with reasonable care and skill, to cancel within the cooling-off period, and to seek redress for faulty performance. Any term that attempts to exclude these rights is void.
